The practice team

Dr Horsewood-Lee qualified at the University of London in 1972 before undertaking postgraduate training at Cambridge and Oxford in general medicine, paediatrics and gynaecology. She became a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 1979.

For ten years Dr Horsewood-Lee worked as an NHS general practitioner in Kensington and Chelsea, acquiring an expert understanding of the best medical resources in London in all fields of mainstream and complementary medicine. She moved into private practice in 1989.

A regular contributor to leading medical journals, Dr Horsewood-Lee takes a keen interest in the latest developments in medical research in order to refer her patients only to the most highly regarded consultants and specialists in their field. She is also a qualified psychotherapist and an International Spa consultant.

Dr Horsewood-Lee is a committee member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, the Council of the RSM, the British Medical Association and the Independent Doctors Federation. She is an advisor to the General Medical Council. Dr Horsewood-Lee is a member of the Women of the Year Association.

Dr Horsewood-Lee is actively involved in several charities and spends time each year working overseas on medical, disease prevention and education projects. For further information about her charitable work click here.

 

Diana Moore joined the practice in 1989 and is personally involved in providing the best possible service to patients and the practice. She manages the day-to-day business administration, finance and personnel and takes the lead in ensuring the smooth functioning of the practice's computerised medical system, including training new members of staff.

A member of the Practice Managers Forum, Diana attends regular meetings of the IT Software User Group.

She has a daughter Ruby, born in October 1998, and enjoys the family atmosphere at the practice.

 

Helen McKenzie-Gooderham joined the practice as a part-time secretary in June 2006 to assist in the day-to-day business administration, including telephone enquiries. She is a member of the Practice Managers Forum and attends regular meetings, including meetings of the IT Software User Group.

Helen has three daughters and three grandchildren and with family playing such an important role in her life, finds working in a family practice particularly enjoyable.

 

Joyce joined the practice in May 2011 as full-time medical secretary. She is
training on the computerised medical package, analyses the Patient Survey
Questionnaires, and deals with general administration.

She is a member of the Practice Managers Forum and attends regular meetings of
the IT Software User Group.

She has direct involvement in delivering the best possible service to the patients
and the practice.

Hobbies include yoga, Pilates and she enjoys reading widely.
